We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in Probate and Trust Administration to join our Fort Myers office. This is a senior, ownership-driven role designed for someone who can independently manage cases from start to finish.
This position is ideal for a steady, detail-oriented professional who values accountability, follow-through, and long-term case management in emotionally complex matters. This is not a training or entry-level role.
Key Responsibilities
Probate & Trust Administration
- Draft and file probate and estate administration pleadings
- Prepare asset inventories and fiduciary accountings
- Coordinate asset transfers, retitling, and beneficiary distributions
Client & Case Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and families
- Maintain organized, accurate case files and documentation
- Communicate with attorneys, courts, financial institutions, and third parties
- Ensure deadlines, follow-ups, and compliance requirements are consistently met
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Probate and Trust Administration
- Familiarity with Florida court filings, deadlines, and procedures
- Experience with fiduciary accounting, including bank reconciliations and court-mandated accountings
- Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, compassionate communication skills for emotionally sensitive matters
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office (Clio experience a plus)

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
